Margate Harbour | full refurb

“We were very wary when looking for a builder for a full refurbishment of our new flat in Margate. Having completed a number of refurbishment projects in London, with some disasterous experiences, we were more than a little cautious. A google search lead us to Old Town. From the first meeting with Neil, I knew we’d found the right person. We live in Wimbledon and although I tried to visit once a week, this wasn’t always possible. From the outset, the communication was superb. The frequency of videos, photos, Facetime….. Neil was always at the end of the phone and I felt in complete control. As the job progressed, I met members of Neils team – all extremely talented in their respective fields and very nice people.

This could have been an extremely stressful job with the flat being on the 3rd floor of a block with no outside parking and no lift but Neil handled everything – including our furniture deliveries when the job was finished. He even stepped in to help me resolve a huge fall out with our windows supplier.

The project was high spec and we were looking for a top end finish. That is exactly what Neil and his team delivered. I would’t hesitate in recommending Old Town. I only wish I had a team of this quality in London. Superb work Old Town.”
